Meet Dr. Hilary Register
Hilary Register is a compassionate and client-centered physical therapist based in San Jose, California, dedicated to helping people move better in the bodies they have. Whether navigating a new diagnosis or managing a long-standing condition, Dr. Register believes that there’s always a way to optimize movement and achieve personal goals. Her confidence in this approach is grounded in her experience working with individuals who have made remarkable strides, even in the face of challenging diagnoses.
Her true passion lies in exploring the powerful connection between the brain and body, especially through the lens of neuroplasticity—the nervous system’s incredible ability to adapt and change. Dr. Register blends evidence-based techniques in vestibular and neurological rehabilitation with practical orthopedic and musculoskeletal care to create personalized treatment plans that support long-term progress.
She believes that everyone has the potential to move and feel better in their bodies, and sometimes all it takes is a fresh perspective and a little encouragement.
Dr. Register earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University, a B.S. in Kinesiology from San Jose State University, and is Board Certified in Neurological Physical Therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association. Additionally, she has taught neuro-rehabilitation curriculum and facilitated vestibular rehabilitation continuing education programming. Dr. Register also currently serves as a vestibular physical therapy consultant to San Jose Sharks hockey team.
Beyond her practice, Hilary is deeply committed to empowering her clients to understand their bodies, manage their health, and return to doing what they love. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends, particularly outdoors.
